Orlando, FL — June 2026 | West Indies Peppa Sauce – WIPS a brand dedicated to preserving and sharing the vibrant food culture of the Caribbean with premium Scotch Bonnet pepper sauces will exhibit at the 2026 SFA Summer Fancy Food Show (June 28–30) in New York City as part of the :INCLUDED CPG cohort — and then drive directly to New Orleans for the ESSENCE Festival of Culture (July 3–5). The back-to-back road show, timed to Caribbean Heritage Month, puts WIPS in front of the country’s most influential specialty food buyers, press, and cultural tastemakers.
The Specialty Food Association named SenseMaxxing its 2026 Trend of the Year — intense sensory saturation where consumers crave visceral brightness over neutrality. WIPS is the original SenseMaxxing experience. Both varietals hit at 200–300K Scoville, but they arrive differently. WIPS Red Scotch Bonnet leads with citrus: a bright, zesty burst that opens the palate before the heat settles in, pairing beautifully with chicken, fish, and steak. The WIPS Yellow Scotch Bonnet is tangy — sharper, more acidic, the kind of clean finish keeps you reaching for more on eggs, burgers, tacos, and veggie dishes. WIPS complements food without overpowering it, and the combination possibilities are endless — stir into mayonnaise, swirl with honey, or drizzle straight from the jar. WIPS is rooted in a West Indian family recipe spanning four generations.
The market data confirms what Caribbean home cooks have always known: 51% of global consumers are actively seeking cuisines from other countries (Innova Market Insights, 2026), and 74% of operators say globally influenced dishes command higher prices (Datassential). West Indian food culture is not a niche — it is a movement. WIPS was built to bring that movement to mainstream retail shelves, honoring those traditions for the estimated 42 million people in the Caribbean diaspora, and for the millions more discovering them for the first time.
“We’re living our mission on this road show. Every booth, every pour, every handshake is about making sure the food culture of the West Indies gets its seat at the table — on the shelves of specialty grocers, in the kitchens of food lovers across America, and in the hands of people who grew up reaching for Scotch Bonnet the way other folks reach for hot sauce. Caribbean Heritage Month is our moment, and we intend to use it.”
— Randy Pulayya, Founder, West Indies Peppa Sauce (WIPS)
WIPS will exhibit in the :INCLUDED CPG section at the Fancy Food Show — a program co-founded by Victoria Ho and Jomaree Pinkard that places BIPOC-owned brands directly in front of retail buyers and distributors. Both Victoria and Jomaree have CPG brands of their own — Khalo cooking paste and Hella Cocktail Co. respectively — and sit on the board of the Specialty Food Association.
“We built :INCLUDED to ensure that incredible, culturally significant brands like WIPS get the visibility and shelf space they deserve. Randy’s passion for preserving West Indian food heritage, combined with a truly exceptional product, embodies exactly what our cohort represents. We are thrilled to champion them at the Summer Fancy Food Show as they scale to new heights.”
— Victoria Ho, Founder, Sherpa CPG & Co-Founder, :INCLUDED CPG
Adding to the momentum: Randy was recently named a Semi-Finalist in the Ubersoca Cruise x Carib Biz Network Business Pitch Competition 2026, a rigorous platform celebrating Caribbean-owned U.S. businesses and entrepreneurial innovation — reflecting the broader excitement building around WIPS as a brand at the forefront of the Caribbean CPG moment.
From New York, WIPS heads straight to New Orleans for the ESSENCE Festival of Culture — celebrating its 32nd year in 2026 — where thousands gather over Fourth of July weekend for one of the largest celebrations of Black culture, community, and commerce in the country. For WIPS, it is the perfect continuing chapter: letting people taste, feel, and carry home four generations of West Indian flavor.
