How hot is WIPS?

WIPS is made from scotch bonnet peppers which have between 100,000 to 350,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU). It’s about the same heat level as habanero peppers. So, it’s quite hot! The peppers we use are about 200,000-300,000 SHU. With just five ingredients including cucumbers, salt, vinegar, turmeric and scotch bonnet peppers, we make the pepper sauce bearable yet still spicy and flavorful.

How much is needed while preparing a dish/eating?

A little goes a long way. We normally add a few teaspoons while preparing a dish. When it comes to adding to your finished meal, it depends how spicy you’d like it. We like it hot and flavorful!

What is the shelf life of WIPS?

One year.

Do I need to shake/stir the bottle before each use?

For best taste stir or shake the bottle with the cap on before each use.

Where are WIPS products produced?

We import our Scotch Bonnet from Costa Rica and produce the final product in Florida, United States.

Is WIPS gluten free, vegan and/or non-GMO?

Yes, WIPS is all of the above.

Does the product need to be refrigerated after opening?

Yes, it's best to store in the refrigerator after opening.

How long does shipping normally take?

All orders are shipped out from our East Coast facility via UPS or USPS. Your order will be fulfilled and shipped within 1-2 business days. Once your order is shipped, it normally takes 3-5 business days for your order to be delivered depending on your region. For international orders, please allow 7-21 business days for delivery.
